MADE BY A ONE-OF-A-KIND TRUSTED TECHNIQUE AND NAVAJO SILVERSMITH

Skillfully made by master silversmith Harrison Jim, this Navajo fully silver ring was made using the traditional poured tufa cast method, a technique passed down through generations in the southwest. Tufa casting is a traditional Native American jewelry-making technique using compressed volcanic ash stone (tufa) resulting in truly one-of-a-kind metal/silver pieces since once the tufa stone is used to make the silver piece, it cannot be used again. This is why you often see jewelry pieces made by this method displayed with a white burned stone. It is the tufa stone used to make the silver jewelry design.

This is also why this ring features a beautiful, organic texture. The texture comes from the process of pouring silver into the tufa stone mold, giving silver and metals real depth and a recognizable character.

What really catches your eye are the crisp coin-stamped edges running along the top and bottom, creating a nice visual rhythm against the textured center. The raised bands and stamped details add dimension and movement to the piece, showing Harrison Jim's real expertise with silver, tufa casting, and detailed stamp work.

It's a bold and moody ring, but refined enough to wear with just about anything!
